My best all time 60' of 2.162 was run a couple of years ago. My launching technique has been to dump the clutch at 3200rpm. This produces wheel spin for the first ~15' to 20', then by the time the tires catch I'm going fast enough to build boost. If I rev much more than 3200rpm, I just spin all the way through first gear. Eventually I'll try a clutch slip launch, but with an old clutch I'm afraid I'll overheat and it will slip all the way down the track.
